My name is Mechelle Whiting and I have been riding motorcycles off and on since I was young. I bought my first bike in 2006. I have one son who attends U of H (3rd year). This young man is my pride and joy and he is my best friend. And you know that old saying “he will always be my baby no matter how old he is” (LOL); he hates it when I say this. I became a Glow Member in 2007. I wanted to be part of a club and I was invited by a friend who was invited by one of the members. I did not know what to expect; but to my surprise all the ladies welcome me and was very friendly. The tone was very warm. I became a member of the group. I was a recruiter for our group which was the first (LOL). It was an experience for me because I never was a people person and through this trial by error, I learned that I can be social. During my period of personal problems, I resigned and left the group for a while and when I asked to return, the group welcome me back with open arms. I enjoy being around my GLOW sisters and when you say family; that is what we are because like with all families, we tend to disagree with each other, but at the in the end, we always have each other backs on the scene. My sisters of glow have showed me that first hand. It is a pleasure for me to be a part of GLOW! ~MeMe~ |
